    It’s a wonderful comparison Anna has drawn here. It remains to be seen whether the Khaleesi would use her drones against her own subjects (or, more pointedly, her most trusted advisers), but if so, an “I told you so” followup to this piece would be in order.

      Yes–very good point, Brian. Will she have to increasingly rely on the unfailing loyalty of the unthinking/unfeeling to respond to dissent? My money is on her drones deciding that they aren’t so content after all. (I haven’t read beyond book 3, so your guess is as good as mine!)
